Ummenhofer Baumaschinen GmbH was pleased to welcome a large number of customers to its Open House 2024 on 19 and 20 October at the company headquarters in Pfullendorf. The construction machinery and service provider used the event primarily to present Develon's diverse portfolio of construction machinery.
“The Develon DX63-7 was definitely a highlight for our customers,” reports Stephan Kohn, Sales Director and authorised signatory for Ummenhofer. With a special design developed by Ummenhofer in conjunction with a tilting rotator, the DX63-7 offers particularly high manoeuvrability and a larger operating radius. In addition, the DX63-7 is equipped with a Stage V-compliant Develon D24 engine and combines exceptional power and high torque at low speeds with economical fuel consumption.
Develon machines impress in practice
Other Develon machines on display at the Ummenhofer site included the 10.7 t DX100W-7 wheeled excavator for urban and road maintenance applications, the exceptionally powerful DX55R-7 mini excavator and the DX225LC-7 medium excavator, which offers a number of innovations in terms of machine control, versatility and operator comfort. The DA30-7 articulated dump truck, the DL280-7 wheel loader and the DX380LC-7K crawler excavator were also shown in operation.
“Events such as open days, where Develon construction machines can be intensively tested, are always very well received by our customers,” says Stephan Kohn. That is why the next test event after the Open Days is already being planned with the Ummenhofer open days on 15 and 16 March 2025. Customer interest was also high in mid-September, when Ummenhofer rented a bus to attend the Develon Demo Days near Prague.
